Common Questions
The photo import missed or misread some words. What can I do?
Take the photo straight-on in good light, crop tightly to the list, and check the detected words before tapping Next — you can remove any that are wrong and add missing ones by typing. Words with more than 15 letters cannot fit in the grid and are skipped.
Some words say they "won’t fit".
A grid can only hold so many letters. Choose a larger grid (Medium or Hard, or a custom size), reduce the number of words per puzzle, or untick a few words for this round.
What is the difference between Drag and Tap?
Drag draws a line across the letters; a wrong line counts as a miss. Tap lets your child touch the letters one by one and tap again to undo — good for younger children, and misses aren’t counted.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open WordSearchEasy → Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID used for purchase.
How do I change the app language?
Open iPhone Settings → WordSearchEasy → Language, and pick English, Traditional Chinese, or Simplified Chinese.
How do I delete my data?
Open WordSearchEasy → Settings → Clear Puzzle History to reset stars and history. Deleting a word list removes its words; deleting the app removes everything.
